About Us

The Painting Contractors Association (PCA) is the only trade association specifically for painting contractors. When you hire a PCA member contractor, you hire a painting contractor with access to outstanding programs, educational seminars, local and national conventions, trade shows, and a vast selection of training publications. PCA contractors stand out from the crowd. They invest time and resources in learning to be the most qualified painting contractors in the market. PCA members are licensed, bonded, contractors, who are dedicated to improving their business through the unique networking, education, and training opportunities offered through PCA.

At the heart of the Painting Contractors Association (PCA) lie its national and council branches, each committed to fostering growth and excellence within the painting industry. While we are connected to the national PCA family, the Washington State Council stands as a separate entity that you do not have access to with national membership.

Driven by a mission to cultivate fairness and respect on job sites, we've observed a concerning trend of inadequate treatment towards painting contractors in Washington State. Our resolve is to unite as a community and champion positive change. Together, we strive to establish a culture where compassion and equity are seen while working in Washington State.
